Registration

 

Registration is through the Academy of Sciences website, with the required personal data:

  1. Writing the full name as it will appear in the certificate, the name will not be modified after that.
  2. Using valid cartoon mail, we recommend that you use your personal, not business, mail to ensure that the certificate arrives.
  3. Course fees (for paid courses) must be paid to ensure your registration is confirmed.
  4. Entering Saudi Council number in the profile to guarantee getting CME/CPD hours ( If Applicable ).

 

Attending courses

 Courses held at the headquarters of the Academy:

  1. Maintain attendance and departure time according to pre-set session time.
  2. Demonstrate the values ​​and ethics of attending training courses such as good listening, literature in discussion and dialogue.

 

Online courses:

  1. The courses are attended remotely via the Zoom program, providing the customer with sufficient time to download the program before the course time. Download Link.
  2. The courses link can be found on the information page for each course.
  3. The Academy is not responsible for the interruption of the Internet connection of the participant. And bear the responsibility in the event of a break in the broadcast by the Academy.
  4. The Academy undertakes the follow-up, supervision and monitoring process for the entry of trainees on the electronic platform.
  5. Monitoring and recording of electronic attendance and absence automatically for trainees in lectures through virtual classroom systems.
  6. Electronic attendance reports are sent periodically to trainers.
  7. Trainees are informed of the percentage of electronic attendance on the virtual platform.
  8. The student's failure to comply with the minimum percentages of the "electronic attendance" system (at least 90%) - in the electronic mode or blended learning, leads to him being considered as not attending the entire training program and depriving him of the certificate.
  9. Attendance by default is equivalent to regular attendance.

 

 Virtual Conferenes: 

  1. The virtual conferences are attended via online platform. 
  2. The conference link can be found on the information page for each conference, Log in information will be sent via email a few days before the conference starting date.

Certificates:

 

Courses held at the headquarters of the Academy:

  1. To obtain the course certificate, the trainee must attend the entire training course in which he is registered.
  2. Passing the tests (if any).
  3. The certificate is sent within one week of the last day of the course, after passing the test (if any).

 

Online courses:

  1. In order to obtain a certificate, the trainee must attend at least 90% of the course in which he is enrolled.
  2. And pass the tests (if any).
  3. Complete the process of paying the course fees (if any).
  4. The certificate is sent by email within two weeks from the course date.

 

Virtual Conferences:

  1. In order to obtain a certificate, the trainee must attend at least 90% of the conference in which he is enrolled.
  2. The certificate is sent by email within two weeks from the conference date.

 

Saudi Council for Health Specialist CME/CPD:

  1. Participant must enter his Saudi Council number in the his profile to guarantee getting CME/CPD hours ( If Applicable ).
  2. To obtain the training activity CME/CPD, The participant must attend the entire activity in which he is registered.
  3. CME/CPD are entered in Saudi Council for Health Specialist site ( Mumaris ) within a month of the accredited activity date. 

 

Shipping and delivery:

Courses held at the headquarters of the Academy:

  1. The Academy provides access to the course book and accessories from the Academy branch in Riyadh. (In case there is a book and accessories for the course)
  2. It is also possible to deliver the course book and accessories through the shipping company to all regions of the Kingdom, with an additional amount of 50 riyals.
  3. The delivery time is considered two to four days from the time the order is confirmed. In the event of registering for the course within a period of less than a week, the participant will bear the late arrival of the books on time.

 

Cancellation and refund 

Courses held at the headquarters of the Academy:

  1. If you want to cancel the registration application or postpone the attendance date, an application must be submitted to the Academy’s administration at least 30 days before the session, and the Academy has the right to accept or reject the apology.
  2. In the event that the subscriber wants to request a postponement of a course due to a medical excuse, he must pay 50% of the course amount to re-book a new appointment, and the Academy reserves the right to accept or reject the excuse.
  3. In case if the participant would like to postpone the attendance date if one of the two conditions above applied, This can only be done once and within 6 months period from the first booking. 
  4. In the absence of the trainee from attending the course, he loses his right to claim a refund.
  5. The Academy reserves the right to cancel any training course or change its appointment in the event of circumstances outside the control, and the trainees shall be notified accordingly. The trainee has the right to recover the course fees.
  6. In the event that the minimum course participants are not completed, the academy has the right to postpone the course date, and the participants have the right to accept the postponement or refund the course fees.
  7. In the event that the participant is entitled to a refund, the academy does not bear the shipping fee, and in the event that a course book or attachments are used, it will be deducted from the value of the refunded fee.
  8. The refund process may take 10 days from the time the order is received.

 

Online courses:

  1. If you wish to cancel the registration application and recover the course fees, an application must be submitted to the Academy’s administration at least (7) days before the course, and the Academy has the right to accept or reject the apology.
  2. In the absence of the trainee from attending the course, he loses his right to claim a refund.
  3. The Academy reserves the right to cancel any training course or change its appointment in the event of circumstances outside the control, and the trainees shall be notified accordingly. The trainee has the right to recover the course fees.
  4. The refund process may take 10 days from the time the order is received. 

 

Virtual Conferences  :

  1. Fees for virtual conferences cannot be refunded after order confirmation, As virtual conferences are an electronic product that is added to the customer account once the order is confirmed.
  2. The Academy reserves the right to cancel any conference or change its appointment in the event of circumstances outside the control, and the trainees shall be notified accordingly. The trainee has the right to recover the course fees.
  3. The refund process may take 10 days from the time the order is received. 

 

Intellectual property rights:

  1. Commitment to preserving intellectual and scientific rights, copyrights, copying and distribution related to all products and services of the Academy.
  2. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights of all training materials are the exclusive property of the Academy.
  3. The trainee is not allowed to print or copy the training materials for the purpose of publishing them for any reason.
  4. The trainee bag and training materials are designed for the purpose of completing training on the training course only.
