Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Online Course

Course Guidlines:

• The Course date is 19-20 Novemeber 2024 and timing is from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM KSA timing for 2 days.
• The course on 19-20 Novemeber will be accredited with CMEs from SCFHS and we will announce soon how many CME once approved by SCFHS. 
• Once registered Participant order will be confirmed within 24H and you will receive only auto order confirmation notifiction first.
• A day before the course the Participant will receive the course attending link (Zoom Link)
• The participant must attend 90% of the webinar in order to get certificate of attendance.

Course Description:

It’s a three days course, of interactive discussion about the Healthcare Quality, patient safety and risk management in addition to learning from the adverse events.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this course, the attendees will be able to

• Describe the definition of the Healthcare Quality and patient safety
• Understand the differences between the Quality control and Quality assurance
• Diagnose a safety culture and raising awareness
• Apply risk management /control elements in the healthcare organization
• Analyze the adverse events to identify areas for improvement in the healthcare system
• Identify the quality and patient safety measures to prevent the adverse events.
• Recognize the Never Events list.
• Determine the link between the Patient safety and incident reporting

Course format

The course will be presented as online course and it is formed of 2 modules, which will be delivered within two days.

• This module will discuss the definitions and main elements of healthcare and patient safety
• Healthcare safety culture and main quality tools.
• Risk management and adverse events
• This module will discuss the difference between the risk management, control and the adverse events.

Module two

• Risk management and adverse events
• This module will discuss the difference between the risk management, control and the adverse events.
• Learning from adverse events
• Never events list
• It’s a video-based discussion with interaction session
• Patient safety and incident reporting
• The link between, patient safety and incident report
• and how to write the incident reports
