Course Description
This workshop explores the transformative role of digital healthcare with a focus on the integration of advanced technologies in maxillofacial surgery and medical education. Participants will gain practical experience using cutting-edge tools such as Meta Quest, HoloLens 2 VR/AR devices, and 3D display monitors. The session will cover the applications of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Metaverse platforms in surgical practice and training, while also highlighting the impact of AI-powered data analysis and advanced visualization techniques on precision, decision-making, and patient outcomes. Through interactive exercises, attendees will enhance their skills in utilizing immersive technologies to improve surgical planning, education, and overall healthcare delivery.
Course Objectives
Candidates will be able to:
- Define the concept of digital healthcare and describe its implementation in the Japanese healthcare system.
